Cosmetic dentistry in the U.K. turned over £945 million in 2014, jumping by 22% over the span of four years and 5% from last year—and this is just for the top 100 dentists in the U.K. Peter Alderson, managing director of credit broker LDF, said this signifies an uptick in demand for cosmetic procedures like teeth whitening, computerised smile analysis and orthodontic appliances. More Britons are investing in better smiles for their personal life and career, growing at a rate of 40 percent yearly, according to the British Association of Cosmetic Dentistry.
